You'll work closely with experienced Legal colleagues, reporting to the Senior Leader, Legal (Banking) and have the opportunity to build deep knowledge of the business while contributing to optimisation across the legal function.Your key responsibilities will include a mix of work including:Advising on a broad range of matters including banking operations, product development, regulatory obligations,Drafting and reviewing customer contracts and terms and conditionsSupporting with complaints, disputes, litigation, regulatory engagement, operational integration and general operational matters while promoting a strong risk and compliance cultureCollaborating with internal stakeholders and external advisers to deliver practical, commercially focused solutions to deliver on strategic objectivesContributing to legal team initiatives, optimisation and uplift to enhance the operations and profile of the legal teamAbout you:To be considered, you will:Have robust technical legal, analytical, and interpersonal skillsHave solid experience in retail banking (either in‐house or in private practice)Have the ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, practical advice for a range of stakeholdersBe well organised,



adaptable, and able to manage competing prioritiesEnjoy working collaboratively and building strong, trusted relationshipsThrive in a fast‐paced environmentAdditionally, you will need the following qualifications:Admitted to practise as a solicitor in an Australian jurisdictionMinimum of 3 years' PQE in a legal roleBachelor of Laws (LLB)Hold a current Australian practising certificateLocationWhilst our primary office locations are in Adelaide and Brisbane, we are pleased to be able to consider applications from employees within Australia for this role.
