About the Role
Southern Tanami Kurdiji Indigenous Corporation (STKIC) is seeking a motivated and community-minded Employment Consultant to join our Remote Australia Employment Services (RAES) team based in the beautiful remote community of Willowra, Northern Territory.
Working closely with community members, local employers and service providers, you will play a key role in supporting Aboriginal job seekers to build confidence, develop skills and achieve meaningful employment outcomes.
This is more than an employment services role—it's an prospect to become part of a close-knit community while helping local people create brighter futures.
Key Responsibilities
Support participants to prepare for and secure sustainable employment.
Develop individual Employment Pathway Plans.
Assist with resumes, job applications and interview preparation.
Connect participants with training,



work experience and employment opportunities.
Build strong relationships with employers, local organisations and community members.
Deliver culturally respectful and participant-focused services.
Maintain accurate records, case notes and reporting requirements.
Encourage participant engagement through positive mentoring and support.
About You
You are someone who:
Is passionate about helping people achieve their goals.
Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Can work independently while contributing to a supportive team.
Has strong organisational and administrative abilities.
Enjoys working within diverse cultural environments.
Is resilient
Holds a current Driver Licence.
Is willing to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card).
Previous experience in employment services, community services, recruitment or case management is highly regarded, however applicants with transferable skills and a positive attitude are encouraged to apply.
