Workplace Health, Safety & Training OfficerCOMMUNITY CARE FOUNDATION LTD – Maryborough QLDMake a real difference behind the scenes.Community Care Foundation is a growing not-for-profit NDIS provider supporting people with disability across the Fraser Coast and Wide Bay regions.We're seeking an organised, proactive and motivated Workforce Compliance & Safety Officer to coordinate workforce compliance, training, workplace health and safety, and return to work processes across our organisation.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a meaningful 24-hour per week role that offers flexibility, variety and the chance to make a genuine impact on workforce capability and safety.About the RoleReporting to the HR & Support Coordination Team Lead, you'll work closely with leaders across the organisation to ensure our workforce remains compliant, well-trained and supported.Your responsibilities will include:Coordinating mandatory workforce training and complianceMonitoring licences, certifications and employee recordsSupporting employee onboarding and inductionCoordinating workplace health and safety activitiesManaging hazards, incidents and corrective actionsConducting workplace and Supported Independent Living (SIL) compliance auditsCoordinating emergency preparedness and fire safety activitiesManaging first aid complianceAssisting with WorkCover claims and Return to Work processesPreparing monthly compliance and WHS reportsSupporting workforce wellbeing initiativesMaintaining accurate,



audit-ready recordsAbout YouYou are someone who:Is highly organised with exceptional attention to detailEnjoys improving systems and processesCan confidently manage multiple prioritiesCommunicates professionally with people at all levelsWorks well independently while contributing to a collaborative teamIs passionate about workplace safety, compliance and supporting others to succeedEssential RequirementsTo be successful in this role you will have:Certificate IV in Business, Community Services, Workplace Training & Assessment or equivalentCurrent First Aid & CPR CertificateCurrent Queensland Driver LicenceNDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain)Queensland Blue Card (or ability to obtain)National Police CheckNDIS Worker Orientation CertificateStrong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Teams and ExcelDesirable ExperienceApplications from candidates with experience in the following will be highly regarded:Disability or community servicesWorkplace Health & SafetyWorkforce complianceReturn to Work coordinationEmployment HeroDonesafeLearning Management Systems (LMS)Training coordinationNDIS Practice StandardsWhy Join Community Care Foundation?
