This role requires an enthusiastic and capable Carpenter to work closely with the leading hand to ensure the successful and professional manufacture and delivery of our custom timber products.Carpenter - Playground ProductionType of employmentThis is a Full-time Casual role of 38 hours per week.
Work hours will typically be between 7:00am - 3:30pm over five days of the week.LocationThe role is based at our Silverwater - 20 Churchill Street, Silverwater, but may also entail some work on sites across Sydney.Rate of PayDepending on experienceMain ResponsibilitiesManufacture/Production of all timber-related playground structures and products, including cutting, routing, sanding, drilling, assembly,



oiling/paintingOccasional assembly and/or construction of timber-related playground equipment on site may be requiredAssisting with maintaining a clean and tidy workspaceAdhere to all WHS requirements and assist with ongoing improvementSome involvement in production planning and implementationSkills and ExperienceCertificate 3 or 4 in CarpentryStrong demonstrated experience in WHS and secure systems of workStrong ability to read and translate production and construction drawingsStrong problem-solving skills and creative thinkingStrong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationshipsStrong work ethic and a positive, "Can-do" attitudePerformance GoalsCompleting work to a very professional standard and on-timeCommitment to providing continual improvement in products and processesMaintain exceptional safety in the facility and in systems of workMaintain clean, tidy and safe workspaceBe careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
