An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Head of Clinical Governance to join a well-established not-for-profit aged care provider.
Reporting into the Executive Leadership Team, you will provide strategic oversight of clinical governance across multiple residential aged care homes, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care while driving continuous improvement, compliance, and clinical excellence.
This is a true leadership role suited to someone who enjoys building strong governance frameworks, mentoring leaders, and creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
About the Role
As the Head of Clinical Governance, you will:
Lead and strengthen clinical governance systems across multiple residential services.
Drive continuous quality improvement and accreditation readiness.
Oversee clinical risk, incident management and regulatory compliance.
Partner with operational leaders to identify gaps and implement sustainable improvements.
Develop and mentor clinical leaders, creating clear succession pathways and building capability across the organisation.
Work closely with the Executive Leadership Team to influence strategic clinical outcomes.
Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture focused on resident outcomes and clinical excellence.




About You
To be successful, you will have:
Previous experience in a senior Clinical Governance leadership role within aged care.
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Extensive knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation and compliance.
Experience leading governance, risk and quality across multiple sites.
Exceptional leadership, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills.
A proactive, collaborative approach with a passion for developing people and driving high standards.

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Governance leader who has successfully operated at this level previously.
