We are seeking a casual Accounts Payable Officer to join our team (approximately 12 hours per week).

The Australian Golf Club is a private Member's Club located in Rosebery.
The Club is the oldest Golf Club in Australia, having been originally founded in ****.
The Club prides itself on its history and tradition, and excellence in service delivery to its Members.
As a team our goal is to provide our Members and guests with an exceptional golfing and hospitality experience, while aiming to provide a cooperative and caring environment for our team members to work in.
The role
The role would support the end-to-end accounts payable function for the Club, and provide general administrative support to the Finance team.
The role is being offered on a casual basis at an average of 12 hours per week, and can be worked as 2 days (6 hours each day) per week.
Ideally, these days would be spread across the week for coverage.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Ensuring the precise and timely processing of invoices and other financial transactions, including obtaining appropriate approvals.
Receiving supplier invoices and addressing discrepancies.
Reconciliation of creditor monthly statements.




Payment of all creditor invoices
Contribute to month end processes and procedures.
Reconciling all statements with variances investigated, explained, and actioned.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
Make suggestions for process improvements to increase efficiencies.
Ad hoc duties to support the wider team, as required by management.
About you
This role will suit someone with relevant experience looking for a casual role that will give them a work-life balance, but we are also open to entry-level candidates who are interested in furthering a career within finance administration.
To be successful in the role you must have:
Experience in an accounts payable or finance administration role is preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Suite.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong numeracy and data entry skills.
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work autonomously.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
