As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice and delivering the highest standard of care to our valued patients.Position: Surgical Dental Assistant (four days per week 08:00am to 5:30pm - NO weekends)Responsibilities:Assisting our surgeon during procedures,



including both under local and general anaestheticPreparing treatment roomsProviding post-operative instructions and patient educationAdhering to infection control protocolsSterilisation and maintenance of surgical instrumentsClinical photographyPerforming intraoral scans prior to implant proceduresPerforming OPG x-rays and cone beam CT scans under instruction from our surgeon (if you hold a Certificate IV in Dental Radiography)Qualifications:Certificate III or IV in Dental AssistingBasic knowledge of surgical procedures e.g. removal of impacted teeth, placement of dental implants (training will be provided)Strong attention to detail and organisational abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
