My client is a well-established accounting practice with a 30 + year history in the market.
The Partners bring a mix of both boutique and top‐tier firm backgrounds.
Their expertise includes hands‐on involvement with SMEs, specialised knowledge in SMSFs, as well as expertise in outsourced CFO services and international business.
The firm deals with a wide variety of industries and types of clients with a particular footprint in the Chinese speaking community.
As a result of continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Junior Accountant to Intermediate to join the team.
In this role you will be working across a broad range of compliance work and be communicating with clients.
In time, there is the opportunity to move upwards and take on more of a mentorship and review role with junior staff.
Two of their current Partners have been promoted into these roles after starting with the business in more junior positions.




Internally the firm uses Xero/XPM as their main practice software and BGL for SMSFs and corporate compliance work.
The firm has several staff members who have been with the team for over 10 years, meaning you will have the opportunity to work alongside highly experienced mentors.
Inside the office you will find a close‐knit team where all members areencouraged to pursue their skilled goals.
Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for different entities
Preparation of BAS & IAS andbookkeeping and payroll services
Liaising with regulatory bodies such as ATO & ASIC
Research and interpretation of tax and other relevant legislation
The ideal candidate will:
Posess a relevant tertiary qualification and be undertaking or looking to commence CA/CPA studies
Have a minimum of 2 years experience in accounting - predominantly in public practice where you have experience servicing clients
Be confident communication in both English and Mandarin or Cantonese
Have experience using accounting platforms such as MYOB & Xero
