The historic P&O; Hotel is seeking an exceptional Venue Manager with a strong passion for creating unique guest experiences and a killer beverage program to join us on an exciting new venture.

About the Role
As the venue manager, you will lead the launch of an exciting new opening and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist leadership team with the launch of a recent venue.
Oversee operations, administration, and service standards
Lead, develop, and manage the venue's beverage program, including wine and cocktail offerings
Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere
Supervise and mentor the front-of-house team, including rostering, training, and performance management
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations
Conduct financial processes and reporting.
Support the planning and execution of events and functions.
Contribute to ongoing improvement of systems, policies, and procedures
About You
A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences




Minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar leadership role
Strong background in beverages, including wine knowledge and mixology
WSET Level 2 (or higher) highly desirable
Proven front-of-house experience with a hands‐on leadership style
Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and lead a team
Highly organized with solid attention to detail
Solid understanding of food safety and liquor licensing requirements
Experience with POS and hospitality management systemsYou possess a valid RSA certificate and approved managers card.
