We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial administration of the business.
This hands-on role requires strong Xero expertise and the ability to independently manage bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing, reconciliations, and financial reporting for a growing professional services firm.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare and issue client invoices.
Follow up outstanding debtor accounts and monitor cash flow.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.
Process employee expense claims and reimbursements.
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Location: Sydney CBD (Office-Based)
Employment Type: Part-Time (2 days per week)

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial administration of the business.
This hands-on role requires strong Xero expertise and the ability to independently manage bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing,
reconciliations, and financial reporting for a growing professional services firm.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
Manage all day-to-day bookkeeping activities using Xero.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare and issue client invoices.
Follow up outstanding debtor accounts and monitor cash flow.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.
Process employee expense claims and reimbursements.
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Payroll & Compliance
Manage payroll processing and ensure timely payment of salaries.
Administer superannuation, PAYG and payroll compliance requirements.
Prepare information required for BAS submissions and liaise with external accountants.
Support month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
Ensure all financial records are maintained in accordance with Australian regulatory requirements.
Reporting & Administration
Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management.
Monitor cash flow and provide visibility on receivables and payables.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Maintain organised financial filing and record management systems.
Provide general administrative support relating to finance and office operations as required.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Proven experience using Xero is essential.
Candidates without hands-on Xero experience will not be considered.
Minimum 3 years' bookkeeping experience.
Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations and invoicing.
Robust understanding of Australian payroll, superannuation, BAS and GST requirements.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable
Experience within a professional services, consulting or small business environment.
Formal bookkeeping, accounting or finance qualification.
Experience working with external accountants and auditors.
