A nationwide provider of all major telco services, MJI Group is able to provide an industry leading service with their services in order to create the most favourable outcome.The Role MJI Group is seeking a Cabler to join the MJI Group team on a permanent full-time basisTasks:examining drawings, specifications and work areas to determine positioning and connections for equipment to be installedlocating faults in telecommunications equipment using instruments such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, ammeters and transmission measuring equipmentattaching wires and cables to appliancesadjusting, replacing and repairing faulty items, and testing equipment using electronic instrumentsinstalling cabling for telephone, radio,



pay TV and computer transmissionjoining cables and sealing sheaths with lead and thermoplasticerecting, testing and maintaining aerial and underground wires and cables, and radio and mobile phone antennaeinstalling telecommunications equipment and appliances such as telephones, switchboards and data transmission equipmentInstalls internal telecommunications and data cabling, equipment and peripherals for computer networks, telephony, cable television and monitored security and fire alarms.Skills and Qualifications: To be eligible for the role, you must have the following:Relevant AQF Certificate III required including at least 2 years of on the job trainingAt least 3 years of experience as a Cabler in a similar workplace may substitute the formal qualification listed above;Have experience in upholding the proper health and safety requirements in the workspace;Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
