Tate APAC are seeking a commercially astute Business Finance Manager to lead our Financial Reporting and Business Partnering function.Working closely with executive leadership, sales, operations, project teams and the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for transforming financial information into meaningful insights that drive performance, improve profitability and support informed business decisions.This is not a traditional accounting role.
Rather than focusing on accounting transactions, reconciliations or compliance reporting, you will act as a strategic finance partner to the business, leading forecasting, planning, performance analysis and commercial decision support across the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the annual budgeting processManage monthly and quarterly forecasting cyclesPerform scenario and sensitivity analysisPartner with key stakeholders to improve forecast accuracyPerformance Reporting & AnalysisDeliver executive-level performance analysis and commentaryIdentify key business drivers, risks and opportunitiesProvide clear and actionable recommendations to managementSupport executive and board reporting requirementsCommercial FinancePartner with Sales teams to improve revenue quality and profitabilityAnalyse pricing, margins and customer profitabilitySupport business case development and investment decisionsEvaluate commercial opportunities and associated financial impactsOperations & Project FinancePartner with Operations and Project teams to improve financial performanceAnalyse project profitability and operational efficiencyMonitor cost drivers and operational KPIsIdentify risks and opportunities impacting project and operational performanceCash Flow & Working CapitalOwn weekly cash flow forecasting processesMonitor working capital performance across inventory, debtors and project cash flowAnalyse cash conversion and project billing performanceSupport initiatives that improve cash generation and working capital efficiencyBusiness PartneringBuild strong relationships with operational and commercial leadersChallenge assumptions and provide constructive financial insightSupport strategic and operational decision-makingAct as a trusted adviser to key stakeholders across the businessLead and develop the Business Finance teamBuild organisational capability in forecasting, commercial finance and business partneringDrive a culture focused on performance improvement and accountabilityDrive improvement in forecasting accuracy and reporting effectivenessSupport development of AI and business intelligence capabilitiesImprove financial modelling and performance reporting frameworksPromote data-driven decision making throughout the organisationCollaboration with Financial ControlWork closely with the Financial Controller and Financial Control teamEnsure alignment between financial reporting and business performance reportingUtilise financial results produced by Financial Control to drive commercial insight and recommendationsSupport continuous improvement in financial and operational reporting processesAbout YouYou are a commercially focused finance leader who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, influencing business decisions and improving organisational performance.You are naturally curious,
