Family owned and operated, PremiAir Hire is a fast-growing Hire/Service company that specialises in the dry-hire, service and sales of equipment including air compressors, generators and distribution, portable lighting towers, message boards and traffic management products (temporary road barriers, road plates, TMA's and Utes) as well as providing on-site refuelling.Our teams are committed to providing our loyal customers with industry leading service excellence, highest quality products and efficient solutions 24-7.Given our robust business growth and expansion, we have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join our busy facility located in Eastern Creek.Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, the main responsibility of the role is to service and maintain diesel-driven hire equipment including Compressors, Generators,



Light Towers and a variety of vehicles and trucks.DutiesRepair and maintenance of hire equipment to PremiAir and OEM standards.Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing on equipment both in the workshop and on customer sites.Other appropriate duties as required/directedSkills and ExperienceYou must possess a strong sense of urgency with an"I will make it happen"attitude to get the job done.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:Experience working on trucks and heavy vehiclesStrong mechanical, fault finding and problem-solving skillsCan work unsupervised and listen and follow instructionsHas a strong team mind-set and a willingness to learn new productsCan work a reasonable amount overtime, if/when required and be a part of our on-call rosterIs reliable, punctual with excellent work ethicsAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentCurrent HR drivers' licence and forklift ticketConstruction Induction (White Card)Previous experience and success in a similar role will be highly regarded, however, the successful applicant will be appointed primarily based on attitude.PremiAir is an Equal Opportunity Employer and believes diversity and inclusion can deliver advantages to our business and workplace.Please note that short-listed candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical that includes drug and alcohol screening.
