We are a well-established, busy café in Rosebery seeking a reliable and experienced Full-Time Chef to join our team.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys an open kitchen, fast-paced café setting, can confidently assist in managing a small kitchen and takes pride in producing consistently high-quality food.Location: Rosebery, NSW (occasional shifts may be required at our Alexandria location)Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook our breakfast and lunch menu to a high standard.Assist in managing the day-to-day kitchen operations and work independently during busy service periods.Prepare and coordinate catering orders.Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and minimise food wastage.Assist with menu development and daily specials.Help control food costs through accurate portioning and efficient kitchen practices.RequirementsMinimum 3 years' experience as a Chef, preferably in a busy café.




Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification).
Strong ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.Excellent knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.Reliable, organised, and able to efficiently manage a small open kitchen.Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent time management.Must be available for full-time employment and attend an in-person interview in Sydney.Only applicants with relevant café chef experience will be considered.What We OfferFull-time, stable employment.Staff meals and employee discounts.Friendly and supportive team environment.Opportunity to work in a well-established and respected local café.
