Genneral Staircase is seeking experienced Subcontractors - Staircase Installation to join our growing team in Wetherill Park, NSW.
This is a subcontractor position based on client sites, where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality staircase installations to our clients.As a subcontractor you are engaged on a job by job basis, and will be responsible for executing installations with precision and professionalism, ensuring every project meets our exacting standards and deadlines.
This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence in the carpentry and cabinet making industry.Key responsibilitiesInstall staircases on residential and commercial properties with precision and attention to detailMeasure, cut and prepare staircase components according to specifications and design plansEnsure all installations comply with building codes, safety regulations and industry standardsWork collaboratively with the project management team to meet timelines and quality expectationsConduct pre-installation inspections and site assessments to identify potential challengesPerform finishing work including sanding,



staining and varnishing as requiredMaintain tools and equipment in good working conditionProvide updates on project progress and communicate any issues or delays promptlyEnsure all work sites are kept clean and safe throughout the installation processWhat you will need:Registered Pty Ltd company (ABN and ACN) — owner/operator, not a sole traderCurrent Public Liability Insurance (minimum $*****M — confirm your required level)Workers Compensation insurance (if you engage your own staff)Valid trade licence/qualifications relevant to staircase installation (e.g. carpentry/joinery)Own tools of trade and reliable transportWhite Card (construction induction) and any site-specific WHS inductionsProven experience installing timber/metal staircases to a high standardAbility to read and work from install plans/drawingsReliable availability and solid communication with our scheduling/install teamWhat we offerSteady pipeline of work across NSW and ACTCompetitive rates, paid on agreed termsSupport from an experienced install and project teamAbout usGenneral Staircase is a respected staircase installation company based in Wetherill Park, NSW.
