You will receive specialist training, operate up-to-date vehicles, and play an essential role in keeping Sydney & Parramatta moving every dayWhat do you need to become a light rail driver?
You must have a proven record of safe driving on the road and have a current NSW Drivers Licence (C Class) with a minimum of 5 years' experience on your full licence (not including Learners/Provisional).
Being a full-time light rail driver means a commitment to shift work and being available to work on a rotating roster, minimum 38 hours per week.
Your shifts will include early starts, late finishes, weekends, and public holidays.We have an uncompromising attitude to the safety of our employees, clients, and customers.
It is important that you are medically fit to perform the functions of a light rail driver and our pre-employment medical checks including drug & alcohol testing will confirm this.
Our recruitment processalso includes police, licence,

Your 6 weeks training will include theory and being out on the network paired with a mentor so you can gain first‐hand driving experience.
