We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Officer – Home Care to join our Corporate Finance Team.About the RoleReporting to the Finance Manager – Transactional, the Finance Officer – Home Care plays a key role in supporting the financial and administrative operations of Home Care Services.
This position is responsible for client billing, government claiming, reconciliations, reporting and maintaining accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with organisational policies and Aged Care standards.This is an excellent chance for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong financial administration skills and values delivering excellent customer service.This role offers a hybrid working model, combining office-based work from our Wahroonga Corporate Office with flexible work-from-home arrangements.Key ResponsibilitiesManage client billing, invoicing and financial administration processesSupport Support at Home (SAH), DVA,



CHSP and DEX claiming and reporting requirementsProcess direct debits, client statements and account reconciliationsInvestigate and resolve billing discrepancies and account enquiriesMaintain accurate financial records and documentationAssist with reporting, audits and compliance activitiesSupport payroll-related finance processes as requiredProvide responsive and professional support to clients, families and internal stakeholdersContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and finance process efficienciesAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Experience in administration, finance support or accounts rolesStrong attention to detail and excellent organisational skillsExperience with billing, invoicing, reconciliations or accounts processesStrong Microsoft Office skills, particularly ExcelExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work autonomously and within a collaborative teamStrong problem-solving skills and sound judgementAbility to maintain confidentiality and work with integrityDesirableExperience within the Aged Care, Home Care or Community Services sectorKnowledge of Aged Care funding and claiming processesExperience using finance or client management systems such as Epicor and AlayaCare preferredWhy Join UPA?
