To support additional project growth , we are seeking experienced FIFO HD Mechanics (Prime Movers, Trailers & Earthmoving Equipment)to join the team on our Mt Magnet mine site operations.
You will join existing crews of Leading Hands, Mechanics, Auto-Electricians, Boilermakers, Apprentice Fitters and a team of Service Personnel & Trades Assistants.
Permanent full-time opportunity on a long-term project
We offer $75 per hour plus superannuation on all hours worked (12)
2/1 roster - 1 week day shift - 1 week night shift




On a 2/1 roster - One way flight paid to any major Capital City in Australia, as well as Cairns, Newcastle, Townsville, Launceston & Burnie.
We also offer one way flight to Bali, Thailand or Manila also.
Weekly pay
We also offer a DIDO option to Mt Magnet (3.5 hours from Geraldton) with paid mileage each swing.
Duties & Responsibilities
Focus on maintaining our Kenworth Fleet and Trailers whilst working on fitting duties on our Earthmoving Equipment (Komatsu), Service Trucks, LV's and other equipment as required
Actively participate in promoting and upholding our positive approach to safety
Respectful & honest communication with Leading Hands and your fellow team members
Maintain compliance to service schedule and ensure compliance with all necessary paperwork

Kenworth C509, C510 and T909
Komatsu WA******* Wheel Loaders
Service Trucks
Toyota Light Vehicles
Qualifications
Prior experience in maintaining and servicing Kenworth Prime Movers & Trailers with Earthmoving Equipment in a Mining/Civil environment, especially with Loaders & Graders
Minimum 3-5 years of experience maintaining Kenworth Prime Movers & Trailers in mining/civil environment is essential
Minimum 3+ years of hands‐on experience with Komatsu earthmoving equipment, particularly loaders and graders
Heavy Diesel Mechanic Trade Qualification (Australian recognised)
Air Conditioning qualification (if applicable)
Ability to pass a pre‐employment medical
National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one
Must hold Australian full working rights
