Lighthouse Furnishings is seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist to join our team in Seventeen Mile Rocks, Queensland.
This is a casual role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on a variety of curtain and soft furnishings projects.
What you'll be doing
Operate industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality curtains, blinds, cushions and other soft furnishings
Perform finishing tasks such as hemming, edging and attaching trims
Ensure all work meets strict quality standards
Collaborate with the wider production team to meet deadlines
What we're looking for
Previous experience as an Industrial Sewing Machinist or Curtain Maker
Robust attention to detail and ability to work accurately
Competent in reading and interpreting technical specifications
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Familiarity with a range of industrial sewing machines and techniques
