We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic People & Culture Trainee to join our growing People & Culture team.
This hands‐on traineeship provides practical experience across all aspects of the employee lifecycle while supporting you to develop the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in HR.
Working alongside experienced HR professionals, you'll gain valuable exposure to recruitment, onboarding, employee records, workplace compliance, and a variety of People & Culture initiatives.
About the Role
Assist with recruitment, including preparing job advertisements and coordinating interviews.
Support the onboarding of new employees.
Maintain confidential employee records and HR databases.
Respond to general People & Culture enquiries.
Provide administrative support across the employee lifecycle.
Participate in interviews and recruitment activities.
Assist with People & Culture projects and organisational initiatives.
Learn about employment legislation, workplace relations and HR best practice.




Qualifications
Currently studying or recently completed Certificate IV or above in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
Previous administration or office experience.
Passionate about starting a career in Human Resources.
Friendly, professional and eager to learn.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
A confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Committed to continuous learning and professional development.
Has an understanding of, and commitment to, Aboriginal communities and culturally safe practice.

Currently studying or recently completed a Certificate IV or above in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
Confirmation of Aboriginality
Current Working with Children Check.
National Police Check.
Current NSW Driver Licence.
