Please note this is for the **** Registrar Trainee Obstetrics Gynaecology Intake for King Edward Memorial Hospital.
This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments with the possibility of extension(s).
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur.
Appointments may be made from this pool until01/02/2027.
Position Profile:
We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and dynamic person to the position of Registrar – Trainee - Obstetrics Gynaecology.
In this role you will manage inpatients, outpatients and emergency patients under the supervision of Specialists, Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
You will also manage surgical patients from admission to discharge, under the supervision of Specialists.
Please note: This position is part of the Integrated Training Program (ITP).

Area Profile:
The Women and Newborn Health Service provides clinical care to women and families.
It comprises King Edward Memorial Hospital, the Maternity Unit at Osborne Park Hospital and other specialist health services.
The Women and Newborn Services at Osborne Park Hospital merged with WNHS in ****.
The new service became part of the overall Women and Newborn Health Service.
The merging of the two services created a synergy for women's healthcare options, encouraging greater opportunity for cross-site communication and collaboration.
The new service is an additional pregnancy care option for women, all governed by WNHS.




Established in ****, KEMH is the State's largest maternity hospital and the only referral centre for complex, high acuity pregnancies in WA.
