With a strong presence in the Oceania region, we are committed to operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth.We provide integrated supply chain and logistics solutions that connect Australia with global markets, supported by our commitment to professionalism, integrity and innovation.About the RoleWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Contracts Officer to support our legal and commercial functions through effective contract management and administration.Reporting to the Legal & Compliance function, you will be responsible for reviewing, drafting and coordinating a broad range of commercial contracts and agreements, while working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure commercial objectives are achieved and legal and commercial risks are appropriately managed.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong commercial awareness who enjoys working across multiple business functions in an international business environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, review and coordinate a wide range of commercial contracts, including customer, supplier, service and confidentiality agreements.Provide practical legal and commercial support on contractual matters, ensuring contracts align with business objectives and company policies.Identify legal and commercial risks within contractual arrangements and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.Coordinate the end-to-end contract approval process and ensure timely execution of agreements.Develop,
maintain and improve standard contract templates and related documentation.Maintain contract registers and ensure accurate record management throughout the contract lifecycle.Monitor contractual obligations, key milestones and renewal dates.Support the implementation of internal policies, governance initiatives and compliance activities related to commercial contracts.Collaborate with internal stakeholders across business functions to provide practical and commercially focused solutions.Assist with other commercial, legal and administrative projects as required.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will be a bilingual qualified with strong legal acumen, excellent attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
You will also bring:Fluency in both English and Mandarin (verbal and written communication).
Prior experience in compliance, or legal roles within logistics, warehousing, or transport related area is preferred.Tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, or Commerce, with sound knowledge of corporations law, contract law, and competition law, etcStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.A team-focused approach, with the ability to work independently when required.A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Demonstrated ability to interpret legislation, policies, and data effectively.High standards of personal presentation and professional integrity.Right to work in Australia; satisfactory police/VEVO checks.Medical assessment for fitness to work (as applicable).
