We're open to either a casual or fixed term part-time arrangement, and for the right person, there may be an opportunity for the role to transition into a permanent position.The RoleThis is a varied role that combines both clinical assisting and front office responsibilities.
You'll support our clinicians chairside while also providing a welcoming and professional experience for patients at reception.Working closely with the clinical and administrative team,



you'll play an key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice while delivering exceptional patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting clinicians during a range of dental proceduresPreparing treatment rooms and patients for clinical treatmentTaking X-rays and dental impressionsSterilising instruments and maintaining infection control standardsSupporting patients with post-treatment care instructionsGreeting patients and providing exceptional customer serviceManaging appointments, phone calls, and patient enquiriesProcessing payments and maintaining accurate patient recordsSupporting scheduling, patient flow, and general practice administrationMaintaining a clean, organised, and professional clinical environmentWorking collaboratively with the wider team to ensure an outstanding patient experienceAbout YouYou're professional, organised, and genuinely passionate about patient care.
You enjoy variety in your day, are confident working across both clinical and reception duties, and thrive in a supportive team environment.You'll bring:Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, Dental Receptionist, or in a dual DA/Reception roleKnowledge of dental terminology and clinical proceduresConfidence taking X-rays and dental impressions (or willingness to learn)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organisational skills with great attention to detailA proactive, flexible, and positive attitudeA strong understanding of patient confidentiality and professionalismHighly RegardedExperience within implant or surgical dentistryKnowledge of dental practice management softwareCertificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent experienceWhat can I earn as a Dental Receptionist
