Be Recruitment is proud to partner with Sydney Region Aboriginal Corporation (SRAC) to recruit Family Preservation Case Workers to join the organisation's newly established Family Preservation program.This is an exciting prospect to join a respected Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) at the beginning of a new program, helping shape practice, build strong community relationships and support Aboriginal children and families through culturally safe, trauma-informed services.Please note: This is an Aboriginal Identified position.

Paying SCHADS Level 5 - $105,577 + SuperSalary packaging to increase take home payApproximately 6 weeks annual leaveOffices based across Penrith and DoonsidePool vehicles for work-related travelOngoing learning, development and career progressionWork within a culturally safe, community-led organisation making a genuine differenceAbout the RoleWorking within a multidisciplinary team, you'll provide strengths-based, trauma-informed case management to children, young people and families, supporting them to remain safely together wherever possible.You'll be responsible for:Delivering family preservation case managementCompleting family assessments, safety planning and risk assessmentsDeveloping family-led case plansUndertaking home visits and community-based supportWorking closely with Family Support Workers and key stakeholdersBuilding strong relationships with Aboriginal children, families and communitiesMaintaining high-quality case notes and documentationAbout YouYou'll bring:Demonstrated case work experience within Family Preservation, Child Protection, Intensive Family Support or a related settingStrong understanding of trauma-informed practice and child protectionExcellent relationship-building and communication skillsDiploma in Community Services (or equivalent), or significant relevant experience
