We are currently partnering with one of Australia's market leading industrials businesses on the search for a temporary to permanent Commercial Finance Manager role.Sitting close to the executive team, you will play a key role in the commercial finance function building the models, running the analysis, and translating complex data into transparent, actionable insights that drive real decisions.You will be deep in the data, building from the ground up, and shaping how finance supports the broader business.Initially this is a hands on individual contributor position, with a clear runway to build and lead a team as the function matures.
The business is mid transformation, so adaptability and a bias for action are non-negotiable.The key duties of the role will include but not be limited to:Producing detailed financial modelling, forecasting,



and variance analysis across the businessBuilding and maintaining robust Excel based reporting and data infrastructurePartnering with operational and commercial leaders to provide insight-driven supportPlaying an active role in transformation initiatives such as process improvement and system changesPresenting findings and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholdersThe ideal candidate will be:CA/CPA qualified with a strong commercial finance background, ideally with exposure to industrial, manufacturing, or similar sectorsAdvanced Excel skills - you are comfortable building complex models from scratch and comfortable owning themExperience in or exposure to business transformation, whether systems, process, or structural changeStrong communication skillsThe ability to operate autonomously and set your own priorities in an ambiguous environment
