Environmental Scientist (Consulting) - Contaminated LandI am currently seeking a Environmental Scientist to join my highly respected client's growing Sydney office.
You will be working on contaminated soil and groundwater investigations, along with environmental remediation projects.Thisrole will initially be focused on environmental monitoring activities across a range of projects, and transitioning if ready into the planning, organisation, and supervision of field work associated withcontaminated land assessment and remediation projects, the management of field samples, environmental data management, field documentation, report documentation and report writing under the direction and supervision of senior staff.We require a high calibre candidate with strong technical, interpersonal and communication skills who is looking to continue a rewarding career in environmental consulting.In particular,



the successful candidate will possess:Qualifications in Environmental Science (or environmental engineering or similar).
A minimum of 3 yearsof experience within a contaminated land consulting business (preferably here in Sydney) that ideally includes site supervision of contaminated land investigations, but most importantly experience and understanding of soil and groundwater sampling field methodologies.Sound technical and analytical skillsExcellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skillsA focus on quality and attention to detailKnowledge of and experience with the NSW environmental regulatory frameworkDesire to progress their career into project management.My client is a progressive, team based organisation that expects and rewards achievement.
