Job title: Business Development Manager - MICE (12 Months Parental Leave Cover)

Description:

As our Business Development Manager (MICE), you will seek out new business opportunities within the Conference & Events sector, driving revenue with your exceptional expertise. This position is a fixed-term 12-month Parental Leave Cover.

You will develop and nurture strong, sophisticated relationships with corporate clients, generating high-value leads and securing top-tier business for Pullman & Mercure. Your strategic vision and refined approach will highlight the characteristics of our overall hotel rooms, products and services, driving success through unmatched dedication.

Your responsibilities will include:
Driving business development and managing accounts within the conference, events and functions sector.




Actively promote the area as a destination to boost business for our conference, events and room nights.
Taking a proactive and cutting-edge approach to acquiring current conference and events business.
Promoting and selling the hotel's products and services, including Food and Beverage.
Collaborating with the Sales & Marketing department to establish transparent, effective systems for managing new business and its implementation.
Maximising long-term returns for the hotel from both new and existing accounts.
Working with operational departments to implement systems that ensure outstanding customer service and encourage repeat business from managed accounts.
Partnering with the Marketing team to achieve the hotel's overall strategic goals.
