BAT Australia has an exciting prospect for a Commercial Finance Manager in Sydney.The Commercial Finance Manager partners closely with the business to deliver commercial budgets and key performance indicators, enabling balanced growth through insightful financial and non-financial analysis.This role influences strategic decision-making while ensuring strong governance, SOX compliance, and audit readiness.
Finance Business Partners will primarily support Marketing Commercial and Revenue Growth Management functions, while remaining closely aligned with the broader Finance organisation.Your key responsibilities will include:Developing and implementing pricing strategiesDelivery of commercial budget through collaboration with Commercial Marketing teamManagement of customer credit risk in conjunction with OTC COEManagement of Total Marketing Investment in conduction with Commercial Finance COEComply to our governance and compliance culture to ensure an operating environment with the appropriate controls and dedication to deliver high standards of corporate governance and integrityEffective stakeholder management and collaborate cross functionally to achieve best outcome for the businessEncouraging inclusive culture of collaboration and learning within own team and cross functionallyRole model and Champion BAT valuesWhat are we looking for?
Degree educated with professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MBA)At least 4 years experiences in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environmentUses insight and foresight to drive decisionsExperience dealing with external stakeholdersDetailed understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, i.e. SAP/BPC/ExcelBroad experience in large global organisation with in-depth knowledge in specific FMCG process areasExceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and completenessStrong influencing, leadership, and interpersonal skillsExperience in strategic analysis & planning and execution, performance metrics, project evaluation and commercial acumen.Ability to simplify complex situations and synthesise, communicate, and present complex informationInsightful, comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, pro-active, collaborative, and consultativeWhat we offer you?
