Workplace Emergency Management is growing & we are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic, and motivated people committed to grow their own knowledge and skills as well as help the company to grow with them.
We have a new full-time position for a Workplace Emergency Trainer/Consultant based in Sydney.

We offer variety in your work week.
A typical week could include Emergency response training, observing evacuation exercises, site attendances to develop emergency plans & evacuation diagrams or facilitating planning meetings for organisations.
We also understand that some of these tasks may be current to you and to assist your onboarding, we have a very responsive & experienced team who can help you learn and achieve these skills.
With a wide client base, training is carried out in both regional areas & interstate.
Typically, working away from home is collated into a week each month, which is allocated in consultation with you.
As they say, travel broadens the mind & when working away from home you will gain local knowledge & be able to share it with other communities.
We know that emergency response isn't a one size fits all.
Supported by a friendly & helpful back of house team based out of our head office in Castle Hill,you will be respected in return and given the responsibility to take ownership of your tasks, while offering job satisfaction and keeping our clients happy by meeting their specific needs.
Be willing to deliver emergency response training
General Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook skills
High level written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Willing to work as part of a small team
Be able to work autonomously with great time management and administrative skills
Current Australian Driver's License
Willing and able to travel to clients workplaces (Transport provided)
Be prepared for interstate travel and remote area travel (Approximately 6 nights a month)
Highly Regarded
Cert IV Workplace Training and Assessment
Fire Safety Advisor Qualification
Any proven Professional Emergency Service Background Volunteered or Paid
Responsibilities
Prepare, deliver and develop Emergency Response Training
Conduct inspections of Workplaces for emergency management compliance
Maintain knowledge of Planning for emergencies in facilities - AS********** and AS *********** Planning for emergencies- Health Care facilities.
Site inspections for evacuation diagrams and emergency management plans
Facilitating Emergency Planning Committee meetings
Pre and Post Training Administration
Full Training Provided
Note: As an employment pre-requisite and to start work you must provide a current Working with Children check as paid employee (or be able to obtain one) and a current National Police Check (not older than 6 months).
