Casual Active Support Workers (Western Sydney)Forsight Australia is seeking passionate and dedicated Casual Active Support Workers to join our team.
We have 4 homes conveniently located in Quackers Hill, Blacktown and Acacia Gardens that you will predominantly be working across.In this role, you will provide personalised support to adults with a range of disabilities, empowering them to live independently and participate actively in their local community.What you'll be doingAssisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasksFacilitating community engagement and participation through outings, leisure activities, and social eventsAdvocating for clients' rights and ensuring their individual needs and preferences are metCollaborating with the wider support team to develop and implement holistic care plansMaintaining accurate records and documentation to support client wellbeing and careAdhering to all organisational policies, procedures, and safety protocolsWhat we're looking forA Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, or a related field, or studying towards, and/or at least 6 months experience in a similar role, supporting adults with a range of disabilitiesStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and their familiesDemonstrated problem-solving skills and a flexible,



adaptable approach to supporting clients' needsA genuine passion for empowering individuals and promoting their independence and inclusionAble to work well as part of a diverse teamA current and unrestricted NSW driver's licenceCurrent First Aid and CPR CertificateUnrestricted right to work in AustraliaCurrent NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)Flexibility with your availability for shifts on a 24/7 roster (including sleepover shifts).
