Banksia is a Contemporary Australian neighbourhood restaurant at 98 Hawthorn Road, Caulfield North. We're in the middle of an exciting evolution — a fresh concept built around seasonal, produce-driven cooking in a warm, unpretentious setting that the local community genuinely loves.

The role

We're looking for a CDP ready to step up or a Sous Chef after a fresh challenge. You'll work closely with our head chef on a sharing-style menu that's ingredient-led and crafted with care. It's a hands-on role in a small, tight-knit team where your ideas are heard and your development actually matters.

What you'll bring

You have solid experience in a qualified kitchen and can hold your own on the pass. You take pride in clean,



consistent execution, understand what it means to work as part of a team, and don't need to be told twice. A genuine interest in contemporary, produce-forward cooking will serve you well — but more than anything, we want someone who shows up with energy, looks after the people around them, and wants to help build something worth being proud of.
