The ideal candidate will have astrong desire to develop their expertise in the personal injury law arena, excellent communicator skillswith a commitment to delivering uncompromised services to our clients.Position Description:Assist in management of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accident, workers compensation, public liability and other compensation claims.
All required client liaison, legal research, drafting correspondence and court documents, preparing claims, negotiating settlements and assisting with litigation.
The ideal candidate will seek to develop their personal injury law expertise and have excellent communication skills and a commitment to high-level client service.
Out robust cultural foundations require genuine care, empathy and commitment to our clients and to team members.Key responsibilities:a) Draft, review, and revise legal documents including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence between clients, courts and other legal professionalsb) Execute and modify legal strategy in matters providing legal guidance and progression of compensation casesc) Receive and manage client instructionsd) Attend to meetings and court proceedings to progress matters for optimal settlemente) Manage case files and documentation, ensuring practice and firm is up to date on matter statusf) Ensure compliance with legal procedures and firm's policiesg) Guidance and leader paralegals and admin staff, particularly with respect to workers compensation, work injury damages, TPD, CTP and public liability insuranceh) Ensure communication with stakeholders within expected timeframesi) Ensure KPI's are metj) Strategise effectively to achieve targetsk) Ad hoc duties as required to achieve organisational objectivesl) Support business development and client relationship initiatives.SkillsAble to apply sound personal injury legal knowledgeHigh level of professionalism and discretionObtain optimal resolutions for clientsStrong technology literacyProactive and solutions-focused work styleSound legal research and drafting abilities.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters.ExperienceUp to 3 years post-admission experienceGood understanding of Personal Injury legal frameworkExperience dealing with clients, preparing legal documents and managing legal filesWork RightsRequire Full working rights to work in AustraliaQualificationsBachelor's degree in law or related fieldsPractising Certificate and Membership with Law Society of NSW
