This is a fantastic entry point into the childcare sector — no prior experience or qualifications required, just a genuine love for working with children and a willingness to learn.
You'll gain hands‐on experience caring for children from birth to school age,



while your formal training is delivered by a registered training organisation (RTO), blending on-the-job learning with structured study.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the planning and delivery of age‐appropriate learning experiences and activities under the guidance of qualified educatorsAssist with the daily care needs of children, including feeding, nappy changing, rest routines, and hygiene practicesHelp maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment in line with the National Quality FrameworkBuild positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleaguesObserve and record children's development and progress as part of learning documentationActively participate in all required training, workshops, and assessments toward your Certificate IIIFollow all workplace health and safety, child protection, and centre policies and proceduresContribute positively as part of a collaborative team
