About the Role
St Mary's Villa (SMV) is seeking a passionate and experienced Quality, Compliance and Education Manager to lead and strengthen our quality, compliance and workforce education, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
In this role, you will lead our quality, compliance and education strategies while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence across SMV.
You will work closely with leadership, clinical and care teams to ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant aged care legislation, maintaining audit readiness and promoting best-practice care.
Key Responsibilities
Lead learning and development initiatives, including mandatory training, competency assessments, and professional development.
Identify workforce capability and training needs through performance observations, incidents, complaints, competency assessments, performance reviews and training needs analysis.
Provide on-the-floor coaching and education to care teams to support high-quality, person-centred care.
Monitor and support compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards,
clinical governance requirements and organisational policies.
Maintain ongoing accreditation readiness and ensure mandatory reports, audits and improvement actions are completed within required timeframes.
Manage incidents, complaints and feedback, ensuring timely investigation and resolution.
Maintain training, compliance and quality records, and prepare reports for regulatory and governance requirements.
Support quality and clinical governance meetings, including data analysis, WHS monitoring and continuous improvement planning.
Build strong relationships with staff, residents, families, external services and regulatory bodies
What we're looking for
Bachelor of Nursing and current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
The ability to engage, coach and influence employees across a range of roles and experience levels
Demonstrated experience in residential aged care, with strong clinical knowledge of aged care requirements and regulatory compliance.
Knowledge of residents' rights, the Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
Strong communication, empathy and teamwork skills
Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one
Experience conducting competency assessments
