Upon the completion of your Traineeship,



you will receive a nationally recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.Required Qualifications & Desired SkillsWilling to study a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and CareWorking towards or hold a Cert III / Diploma in Early Childhood Education and CareValid Working with Children CheckNational Police CheckDeveloping knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality StandardsAbility to form positive rapport with all children, families, management and educatorsAbility to confidently and clearly communicate, relate and interact with children, families, management and educatorsChild Safety CommitmentCurrent Child Protection Training (Willing to obtain if you are applying for Traineeship)A demonstrated understanding of child protection and safeguarding responsibilities in early childhood settingsKnowledge of mandatory reporting obligations and relevant child protection legislationUnderstanding of professional boundaries and appropriate behaviours when working with childrenAbility to identify and respond to indicators of abuse, harm, or neglectKnowledge of privacy and confidentiality requirements relating to children and familiesExperience implementing child-safe policies and proceduresApplicants will be required to undergo comprehensive background checks, including:Working With Children CheckNational Police CheckVerification of qualificationsProfessional reference checksEmployment is conditional upon satisfactory clearance of all child safety screening requirements.
