Your work will be seen, appreciated and respected by both your teammates and the thousands of visitors who experience Tropical Fruit World each year.This is an key role with real responsibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day.About the RoleAs our Facilities Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene across the property.Your responsibilities will include:Daily cleaning of public amenities, offices and staff facilitiesCleaning and sanitising commercial kitchen and café areasMaintaining visitor, retail and tasting areasVacuuming, sweeping, mopping and waste managementRestocking consumables including toilet paper, paper towels and soapPerforming scheduled deep cleans across all departmentsMonitoring site presentation and addressing areas requiring attentionReporting maintenance issues and safety concernsSupporting the overall presentation and visitor experience of Tropical Fruit WorldWorking closely with our Maintenance Team and department managersWork hours and daysSunday to ThursdayUp to 35 hours per weekSunday rateAbout YouWe're looking for someone who:Has previous commercial cleaning experienceTakes pride in maintaining exceptionally high standardsIs able to work independentlyIs self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to see what needs to be done and take action without constant supervisionHas excellent attention to detailIs physically fit and capable of performing a hands‐on role across a large propertyIs reliable, organised and trustworthyHas robust time‐management skillsEnjoys being part of a team and contributing to a positive workplace cultureIs willing to work weekends as part of their regular rosterExperience cleaning hospitality venues, tourism attractions, schools, aged care facilities, resorts or large commercial sites will be highly regarded.What We OfferCompetitive hourly rate based on experienceStable hours and long‐term employmentBeautiful Tweed Valley work environmentDaytime work as part of a supportive teamStaff discounts across all departmentsTraining and supportThe opportunity to become a valued member of a passionate family‐owned businessThe Right PersonWe're not simply looking for someone to complete a cleaning checklist.We're looking for someone who takes ownership, notices the details others miss, and has the initiative to get on with the job.
