This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring all incoming products meet quality standards prior to distribution, while driving continuous improvement across inspection processes, rework operations, and supplier quality performance.Based at our Kemps Creek Distribution Centre, you will lead a team of engineers and inspectors in a fast-paced, operational environment with high visibility across the business.
The role requires robust leadership, technical judgement, and a hands-on approach to managing quality outcomes at the frontline.You will play a key role in influencing cross-functional stakeholders, strengthening quality processes, and driving data-driven decision making to protect product quality and customer experience.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, develop, and mentor a team of quality engineers and inspectors, providing clear direction across daily operationsOversee incoming inspections, spot checks, and rework activities to ensure adherence to quality standardsDrive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actionsAnalyse inspection data and deliver reporting on quality trends, risks,



and performance metricsPlan and allocate labour and resources to support efficient inspection and rework executionDevelop and continuously improve rework processes to ensure timely, consistent outcomesIdentify opportunities for process improvement, productivity gains, and cost reductionEnsure compliance with OH&S;, regulatory, and internal quality requirementsSupport supplier quality improvements and drive accountability across the supply chainAbout YouHands-on approach with strong floor presence and operational engagementAbility to operate effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentData-driven mindset with the ability to analyse, interpret, and act on quality dataStrong problem-solving capability with sound technical judgementSkills and ExperienceTertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, Manufacturing, Industrial or similar)Min 3yrs leadership or supervisory experience within quality or technical environmentsStrong knowledge of:Quality management systems (e.g. ISO standards, QA frameworks)Experience within consumer products, manufacturing, or distribution environmentsIncoming quality control and/or supplier qualityRoot cause analysis and structured problem solvingManaging inspection and rework operationsBe part of a globally recognised, values-driven organisation with industry-leading brandsTake ownership of quality outcomes and engineering decisions with real business impactWork in a technically challenging role with exposure to global supply chains and operationsJoin a high-performance, collaborative environment focused on accountability and continuous improvementMake a tangible impact on product quality, operational efficiency, and customer experienceCompetitive salary and employee benefits, including product discounts and wellbeing support
