We're growing our short-course delivery in the construction and civil space — and we need an experienced trainer who lives and breathes site safety.The roleWe're after a qualified Trainer/Assessor to deliver and assess White Card (CPCWHS**** Prepare to work safely in the construction industry) and Traffic Control (RIISS***** Traffic Controller Skill Set — the SafeWork NSW "Blue Card").
This is a part-time / contractor role with adaptable scheduling — ideal if you want to pick up regular training days around other work.What you'll be doingDelivering engaging,



compliant White Card and Traffic Control training to small groupsAssessing students to the standard and completing all assessment records correctlyKeeping delivery aligned with NCVE's compliance requirements and the relevant training packageMaintaining your own industry currency and credentialsWorking with our admin and compliance team to keep everything audit-readyWhat we're looking forTAE***** Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or TAE***** with a commitment to upgrade) — essentialVocational competency in, and the ability to deliver and assess, CPCWHS**** and RIISS*****Current SafeWork NSW traffic control work training credentials (Implement Traffic Management Plans / Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan highly regarded)Recent, relevant industry experience in construction and/or civil / traffic managementConfident, engaging delivery style — you can hold a room and keep it practicalBased in or near Wollongong / the Illawarra, or able to travel there for scheduled training daysOwn reliable transport; valid NSW driver's licenceWhat's in it for youFlexible part-time / contract work that fits around your scheduleCompetitive hourly rate, negotiable based on experienceA supportive team that handles the admin so you can focus on trainingRegular, ongoing work with an established Wollongong-based RTO — not a one-off gigThe backing of an RTO with 25+ years' experience and a strong industry reputation
