Drill Fitter - Carmichael Coal Mine (FIFO)

We are currently seeking application from experienced Drill or Diesel Fitters for a Full-Time 7/7 FIFO position at our Carmichael Coal Mine Project located in Central Queensland.
Paid flights are available from Rockhampton or Townsville.
This role is a rotating day and shift position.
Experience working on drill rigs is highly desired, however, experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters who may not have worked on drill rigs before are encouraged to apply.
The salary/wage range for this role is $***** to $***** per hour with Trade-certified Fitters who are new to mining or drill rigs towards the lower end of that range and experienced Drill Fitters and Leading Hands towards the higher end.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Perform scheduled drill servicing across our REICHDrill rigs
Prioritising workloads or unscheduled repairs when required




Maintaining and servicing support equipment
Fulfilling all safety requirements and maintenance reporting needs.
ESSENTIAL Skills and requirements include:
Hand Tools
Driver Licence
High level of diagnostic skills and field service fault finding is highly regarded
Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour
DESIRABLE skills include:
Heavy machinery maintenance experience
Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
Ability to work as part of a small team
Excellent communication skills and safety awareness
