About the Role:
As the Financial Accountant, you'll be a key part of a professional and motivated finance team, ensuring the smooth and accurate operation of our accounting function.
This is an exciting opportunity to combine your technical skills with hands-on leadership in a vibrant hotel setting.
Pay: $75,****** - $85,****** per year
What You'll Be Doing:
assisting in formulating budgetary and accounting policies
preparing financial statements for presentation to management, Owners, and governing and statutory bodies
conducting financial investigations, preparing reports, undertaking audits and advising on matters such as the sale of businesses, suspected fraud, insolvency and taxation
examining operating costs and organisations' income and expenditure
providing assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements
providing financial and taxation advice on business structures, plans and operations
preparing taxation returns for the business.




introducing and maintaining internal accounting systems, and advising on appropriate upgrades to the accounting systems
preparing cash flows and financial risk of capital investment projects
What We're Looking For:
Australian qualified degree or master's in skilled accounting
3 years+ Australian experience in a similar role is required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Sound knowledge of GAAP or IFRS
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Prior experience in hospitality will be an advantage
