pay TV and computer transmissionjoining cables and sealing sheaths with lead and thermoplasticerecting, testing and maintaining aerial and underground wires and cables, and radio and mobile phone antennaeinstalling telecommunications equipment and appliances such as telephones, switchboards and data transmission equipmentInstalls internal telecommunications and data cabling, equipment and peripherals for computer networks, telephony, cable television and monitored security and fire alarms.Skills and QualificationsTo be eligible for the role, you must have the following:Relevant AQF Certificate III required including at least 2 years of on the job trainingAt least 3 years of experience as a Cabler in a similar environment may substitute the formal qualification listed above;Have experience in upholding the proper health and safety requirements in the workspace;Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
