About UsHitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, known for our quality products and robust customer partnerships.The OpportunityWe are currently seeking an experienced Resident Field Service Fitter to join our team, based in the Northern NSW Region, with full support from our Brisbane branch.This is a dynamic, customer-facing role where you will take ownership of your region-building relationships, managing your workflow, and delivering high-quality service to our valued customers.Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, you will enjoy a high level of autonomy while remaining connected to a supportive and experienced team.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, service and repair Hitachi construction and earthmoving equipment in the fieldManage your daily workflow, job scheduling and customer communicationBuild and maintain strong relationships with a loyal regional customer baseComplete and submit service reports and documentation in a timely mannerEnsure all work is completed in line with Hitachi's safety and quality standardsIdentify opportunities to improve service delivery and customer satisfactionAbout YouRelevant trade qualification (Mobile Plant / Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent)Proven experience in field service within the construction,
