HC / MC Heavy Haulage & Truck Drivers Required - BrisbaneGatt Bros Transport Pty Ltd is seeking experienced HC / MC Heavy Haulage & Truck Drivers to join our energetic team based in Bundamba, QLD.
This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to work in the road transport and heavy haulage sector.
As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting heavy loads across Brisbane and surrounding regions, ensuring timely deliveries whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
This role is essential to our company's success and reputation in the transport industry.Key responsibilitiesOperate heavy combination (HC) and multi-combination (MC) vehicles safely and legally in compliance with all relevant legislation and regulationsTransport heavy haulage loads across Brisbane and regional areas, adhering to delivery schedules and customer requirementsConduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working conditionMaintain accurate logbooks and documentation, including load details, travel times and fuel consumptionCommunicate effectively with dispatchers, customers and team members regarding load updates and delivery progressSecure loads appropriately using correct weight distribution and restraining techniquesAdhere to fatigue management laws and work hour limitations to ensure safe driving practicesRespond professionally to customer enquiries and maintain a positive company imageParticipate in ongoing safety briefings and training programmes as requiredWhat we're looking forValid Heavy Combination (HC) or Multi-Combination (MC)
