Based inTaren Point, NSW ****, you will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of our organisation.
This position offers valuable hands‐on experience in accounts processing, data entry, and reconciliation, which will form a strong foundation for your career in accounting.
What you'll be doing
Processing and coding invoices, purchase orders and expense claims in accordance with company procedures
Entering financial transactions accurately into the accounting system and maintaining detailed records
Reconciling bank statements and identifying any discrepancies
Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Preparing documentation for filing and maintaining organised records
Supporting the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements
Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve invoice and payment queries
Assisting with general administrative duties related to the finance function
Supporting the wider finance team during period-end and year-end processes
What we're looking for
Current or recent completion of a relevant accounting qualification (such as Certificate III/IV in Accounting, or similar)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software packages




Strong attention to detail with excellent numeracy skills and accuracy in data entry
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Professional communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with team members
Basic understanding of accounting principles and double‐entry bookkeeping
Reliability and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information
Willingness to learn and develop your skills within a supportive team workplace
