We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team at Sunrise Endocrinology in Chatswood.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract (part-time) with the potential for extension.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in delivering a warm, professional experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our specialist practice.
Applicants must hold a valid work visa or have appropriate work rights in Australia.
Key responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner
Manage appointment scheduling and diary coordination
Respond to patient enquiries (phone, email, in-person)
Maintain accurate patient records using our digital systems
Assist with billing and administrative processes
Ensure reception and waiting areas are well-presented
Provide general administrative support to the clinical team
About you
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Previous experience in a medical or customer service role is preferred (training provided)
Entry level candidates are also welcome to apply with training provided for those new to medical reception
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Comfortable using technology as we are digital medical practice
Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
Professional, reliable, and patient-focused
Working hours
Monday to Friday: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm (30 hours/week)

Sunrise Endocrinology is a specialist endocrine practice in Chatswood, located next to the train station.
Our team includes Endocrinologists, Dietitians, and Diabetes Educators working collaboratively to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care in a warm and skilled environment.
A National Police Check and Working with Children Check (WCCC) is a prerequisite for the shortlisted candidates.
Sunrise Endocrinology will pay for these checks.
