Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join their maintenance team in Thomastown.
Your recent role
Working within the Maintenance Team, you will play a key role in ensuring the plant and equipment operate efficiently in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Your responsibilities
Fault-finding and troubleshooting mechanical equipment
Performing breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance
Maintaining conveyors, processing machinery, and production equipment
Identifying potential issues and implementing proactive solutions
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
Working collaboratively within a team-focused environment
What you'll need to succeed
Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical - Fitting & Machining)
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3 years experience within the FMCG industry (Poultry, Meat, Food, Beverage, Dairy, Pharmaceutical)
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Good time management and a proactive approach to maintenance
Able to work overtime hours when required
