We're looking for motivated graduates and early-career professionals to join our highly successfulAssociate AI Engineer Program, supporting an innovativeFinancial Crime AIteam within a leading enterprise organisation.
Role:Associate AI Engineer - Financial Crime (x3)
Location:Sydney (Hybrid: 2-3 days in office)
Contract:12-month initial contract (with potential to extend or convert permanent)
This program is designed for graduates looking to build a career at the intersection ofArtificial Intelligence, Data Engineering, and Financial Crime.
You'll work alongside AI Engineers, Data Scientists and Financial Crime specialists to develop intelligent solutions that detect, prevent and investigate financial crime using modern AI, automation and data technologies.
Recent university graduate *****, **** or graduating in ****).
Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Finance or a related discipline.
Exposure toFinancial Crime, includingAML, KYC, CTF, Fraud, Transaction Monitoring or Sanctions, through university studies, internships, placements or previous employment.
Experience withPythonthrough university, personal projects, internships or commercial experience.
Exposure toAI, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Automation or Generative AIthrough coursework or practical projects.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in applying AI to solve real-world Financial Crime challenges.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
Technical Skills (Highly Regarded)
Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn or similar)
SQL and data querying
Machine Learning or Generative AI projects
APIs and automation
Git/GitHub
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
Data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau)
Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering or AI frameworks is advantageous.
