Global Skills has recently been awarded contracts to deliverthe Australian Government's IEA program in Outer Western Sydney, CentralWestern Sydney, Fairfield, Macarthur and Northern Sydney regions.
IEA has replaced Disability Employment Services; a programGlobal Skills has been delivering since ****.
Designed to create a moreinclusive future for people with a disability, injury and/or a healthcondition, IEA places each person's unique goals and needs at the heart of theprogram.
Participants will receive personalised support to prepare for, secureand maintain meaningful employment.
We are looking fora Post Placement/Ongoing SupportOfficer (Workplace Support Officer)in the Outer WesternSydney ESA to work acrossMt Druitt, Blacktown and Seven Hills offices.
About the jobs
Post Placement/Ongoing Support Officers:
Deliver intensive pre and post placement workplace supportfor early identification of job retention risk with the objective to ensure jobsustainability, including job shadowing, identification of skill development,assistance with induction and workplace modifications and coaching as requestedby the employer and participant.
Buildpositive relationships with employers for brokering or sustainingemployment
Ensuringperformance benchmarks are achieved
Ensurecompliance with National Standards for Disability Services,



ISO*****:****/RFFR accreditation and other quality initiatives and compliancerequirements
Adhereto WHS policies, all Information Security and Privacy requirements,understand, and apply Deed and guideline requirements
Selection Criteria:
Experiencein disability or employment services and/or an ability to build rapportwith people from diverse backgrounds specifically persons with adisability, injury or illness
Preferablyhold qualifications in Employment, Community or Disability services or arelated/higher level qualification
Possessexceptional communication skills and a passion for helping others andmaking a difference
Shareour commitment to providing the highest standard of customer service andcollaboration with key stakeholders
Havean understanding of the local labour market, career and trainingopportunities
Haveexperience working to deadlines and/or KPIs
Possessstrong administration skills and IT literacy
Bewilling to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Working withChildren Check and other checks as deemed necessary
Beeligible to work in Australia
Havea full unrestricted driver's licence, valuable driving record and be willingto travel as required
