An exciting opportunity has become available for an experiencedLibrary Assistantto support the school's Library and Digital Learning team during a short-term assignment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to theDirector of Digital Learning and Research, your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the day-to-day operation of the library
Maintaining and organising the library collection
Preparing and managing library equipment and resources
Supporting students with research and information literacy skills
Providing friendly and efficient customer service to students and staff
Assisting with general library administration and circulation duties
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will have:




Previouslibrary administration experience within a school environment(high school experience highly regarded)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across the school community
Solid database and Microsoft Office skills
A proactive, organised and flexible approach to your work
The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative team
A currentWorking with Children Check(essential)
A currentFirst Aid Certificate(highly regarded)
