Nursing, Pharmacy and Allied Health Backgrounds Welcome
Sleep Life Australia: Murdoch, Midland or Wanneroo WAFull-time or part-time
No nights.
No weekends.
No on-call.
Clinic hours are 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
We are looking for capable, experienced healthcare professionals who want to develop genuine expertise in sleep health.
You may already have experience in sleep diagnostics or CPAP therapy.
Alternatively, you may come from nursing, dental nursing, pharmacy, audiology, optometry, allied health or another patient-facing clinical role.
We can teach you sleep diagnostics and CPAP therapy.
What you need to bring is professional maturity, sound judgement, initiative and a proven ability to care for patients.
Positions are available at our Murdoch, Midland and Wanneroo clinics, with both full-time and part-time arrangements considered.
About the role
You will work directly with patients throughout their sleep diagnosis and treatment journey.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting consultations for home-based sleep studies
Setting up sleep-study equipment and educating patients on its use
Providing CPAP therapy setups, mask fitting and treatment education
Reviewing therapy progress and supporting patients with treatment concerns
Troubleshooting equipment, mask and therapy issues
Providing ongoing patient care and follow-up
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records
Managing equipment cleaning, maintenance and infection-control requirements
Communicating with referring doctors and other healthcare providers when required
Our clinicians also rotate through clinic administration.
This includes managing appointments, patient communications, clinical records and the day-to-day flow of the clinic.
Understanding the administrative side of the patient journey makes our clinicians more effective and helps the entire clinic operate as one team.
What we are looking for
Patient-facing clinical experience in nursing, dental nursing, pharmacy,

audiology, optometry, allied health, medical or specialist clinics, or respiratory and sleep services
The ability to build trust with patients and communicate with confidence
Strong judgement, problem-solving skills and the initiative to follow an issue through rather than pass it on
The ability to absorb complex clinical and technical information
Accurate administration and sound computer skills
Direct sleep or CPAP experience is highly regarded but not essential for the right person.
Training
Sleep health is a specialised and technical field, and we provide structured training in home-based sleep studies, CPAP therapy, equipment, software and patient care.
Once you are competent, you will be trusted to work independently, use your judgement and take real ownership of your patients.
From there, experienced clinicians at Sleep Life Australia move into senior clinical roles, training and mentoring newer staff, or clinic leadership.
Why join us?
Consistent daytime hours, Monday to Friday
Full-time and part-time arrangements considered
Positions at Murdoch, Midland and Wanneroo
A varied role spanning diagnostics, therapy and ongoing patient care
Genuine autonomy over your patients and your workload
Ongoing professional development in a specialised field
An established team that takes clinical standards seriously
How to apply
We are a clinic, but we are also a group of people who spend a lot of time together, so we would like to know a bit about you as well as your experience.
Send your resume and a short cover letter answering these three questions.
Two are serious.
One is not.
Tell us about a difficult patient, treatment or equipment issue you worked through.
What did you do?
What are you unreasonably particular about?
How is your own sleep?
Be honest, we are not going to judge you.
Please also indicate your preferred clinic location and whether you are seeking full-time or part time work.
